Developing a Large Timber Material Area in Phuoc Son District, Quang Nam Province

• Investment policy:

According to Decision 3563/QD-UBND dated November 8, 2019 of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province on the investment policy for Quang Nam Forestry Development and Investment Joint Stock Company to implement the project to develop a large wood material area in Phuoc Son district;

• Objectives:

Create a large wood material area to focus on serving the processing industry, produce products of high economic value to supply domestic and foreign markets, and create large timber plantation models to gradually change the farming practices of the people.

• Project scale:

+ The project area has an area of 169.76ha, of which:Phuoc Xuan commune: 118.42 ha, Phuoc Hoa: 51.34 ha.

+ Growing fast-growing timber trees: hybrid acacia, acacia mangium, acacia auriculiformis, tissue culture hybrid acacia, eucalyptus, orientalis...

• Location:

Phuoc Hoa and Phuoc Xuan communes, Phuoc Son district, Quang Nam province.
